Nevertheless, the age\nrequirement can be disregarded if PCU has specific needs concerning the respective\nprospective employee.<\/p><p>Regarding current employees, PCU has age limitation rules, which are 60 years for regular\nlecturers and 70 years for those holding the title of Professor. However, in line with the YPTK\nPetra Management Regulation No. 001 of 2021, employees who have reached a certain age\nlimit can be rehired under a contract as retired employees.<\/p><p>These age-related policies are not standalone but rather coordinated with other policies.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-999f886\" data-id=\"999f886\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-settings=\"{&quot;background_background&quot;:&quot;gradient&quot;}\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c95bb6a elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"c95bb6a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Gender<\/h3>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5b852b3 elementor-widget__width-initial elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"5b852b3\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>PCU does not impose gender restrictions in recruiting employees or obtaining rights. Female\nemployees also receive family allowances like male employees.\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">Management positions are\nopen to female employees as well. This is because PCU does not view gender as a prerequisite\nfor holding any position. This is stipulated in the\nEmployee Guidelines book, decided through the Rector&#039;s Decree No. 344 of 2015. However, in the case of\nchildbirth, female employees are granted maternity leave outside their responsibility for 3\n(three) months. During this period of 3 (three) months, permanent employees are entitled to\nreceive their salary from the university. PCU believes that everyone has\nequal rights to pursue livelihoods and obtain education. This circular letter reflects the university&#039;s\nresponsibility to create a conducive environment for all campus members.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The circular emphasizes that every student has the right to be treated without discrimination\nby anyone. Their interests should be respected to be active, to develop, express opinions,\nsocialize, and express themselves according to decency\/appropriateness to achieve learning\ngoals in the PCU environment. The circular also addresses sexual harassment, which is\ndescribed as conduct that violates decorum or morality, where the recipient does not desire or\nreject any forms of sexually oriented attention, including whistling, verbal comments, gestures,\ndepictions, or demonstrations that are culturally or socially unacceptable (against norms of\ndecency).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-bce9340\" data-id=\"bce9340\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-13d0c6b elementor-widget__width-initial elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"13d0c6b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>This prevention effort is implemented during lectures, meetings, or gatherings or through\ndevelopment programs. In addition, there are responsive efforts by receiving and processing\nany reports of violation, by promptly reporting every incident of violation to the University\nLeaders. Finally, there are also repressive efforts, where the University Leadership enforces\ndisciplinary action when violations occur, involving an ad-hoc team to investigate and\nrecommend necessary actions, including any forms and types of sanctions, as well as counseling\nand recovery for the victims.<\/p><p>Regarding repressive efforts, the University Leaders may take legal action by reporting the case\nto relevant authorities. Furthermore, the University Leaders enforce disciplinary actions and a\ncode of ethics for employees, in accordance with applicable regulations for lecturers and staff if\nthe violations are related to their conduct.<\/p><p>In the prevention of discriminatory practices, PCU released circular letter number 1182 in 2019,\nwhich addresses the use of social media.
