GREEN FESTIVAL

Aligned with PCU’s strategic planning, which emphasizes quality research and community service for the betterment of the community’s welfare, this event is designed to create a collaborative ecosystem for researchers and the community to foster a sustainable environment.

PCU will host several events from September 19 to 20, 2023, as follows:

Aquaponic Cultivation Training

PCU will provide training and equipment for 50 residents from the neighborhood to develop aquaponics systems in their homes. PCU will follow up with those who receive equipment and training for one year, and the ones who succeed in maintaining aquaponic will receive an award. 

Creating Healthy Food for Toddlers

PCU will conduct a workshop and competitions for parents from the neighborhood to learn how to make nutritious meals for toddlers, contributing to the government’s efforts to address the stunting problem.

Matching Forum

This forum will bring together the community and lecturers from PCU to collaborate on research and community service projects with the goal of producing impactful results.

Green Product Exhibition

The exhibition will feature eco-friendly products created by some industrial partners and ‘coached’ SMEs. It is open to the public, university students, and faculty.

Bazaar

PCU will provide 1,000 basic food packages for underprivileged individuals in the vicinity of the campus.”
