SEWAGE TREAMENT PLANT

Continuously enhancing its commitment to the environment, Petra Christian University (PCU) implements 'Save the Water' program. One concrete action taken by PCU is to carry out an STP (Sewage Treatment Plant).

The wastewater generated from toilet sinks, toilets, urinals, as well as from the canteens and rainwater tanks, is processed in the tank. The water is filtered using an environment-friendly ozone system. However, it is important to note that the treated water is not intended for drinking purposes but is rather utilized for other non-potable uses, such as watering plants and flushing toilets.
